The NHTSA Standardized Field Sobriety Test Practitioner Course for Lawyers is the 24 hour NHTSA SFST Practitioner course required to be taken by every police officer in Texas and throughout the U.S. This course is designed to assist attorneys who handle DWI cases to learn how police officers are trained. The course provides training on the actual NHTSA manuals used in officer training, as well as, actual hands on administration of each of the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. The course provided extensive discussion and study of the NHTSA manual and the original SFST field validation studies.  Attorney Sherry R. Armstrong completed the test to better represent her clients in intoxication related offenses.
